 Widdington Hall on the River Ouse is closed tomorrow for an outside booking. Cowthorpe is closed on Sunday for the club’s next open match. Tickets are available from Simon on 01274-571175. Willow Hall Dam in Sowerby Bridge is fishing well for F1s and bream on feeder. Raskelf lake is also fishing well for F1s and roach on feeder, pole or waggler. BRADFORD & DISTRICT SEA AC

Our monthly general meeting is on Tuesday in the New Inn, East Bierley at 8pm. New members will be made most welcome. Our next trip is an inshore trip to Whitby aboard “Shy-torque” on Sunday, February 20. Anyone wishing to go should telephone Brian on 07901-717615 to book a place. A reminder that subs are now due – still at £10 for the year. Also, trophies should be returned so we can get them ready for engraving for the presentation evening in March.

LISTERHILLS AA

Fishing in Sunday’s match at Pilley’s Dam was made extremely difficult by the strong gusting winds. The winner was E Harrison followed by D Stephenson, W Barker, S Parkinson and D Jackson. Catches were made up of a few small roach. Members who fish the Leeds Amalgamation water at Knotsford Lagoon should note that day tickets are no longer available for this water and that a key is now required to gain access. Pike to just under 15lb have been caught at Pilley’s Dam.

BRADFORD CITY AA

All the association’s waters are now fishing well after the recent cold spell. The next match is on Sunday, February 20 on the River Ouse at Lower Dunsforh. Tickets are £15 all in and available from the match secretary on 01423-523368 or 07875-275749.

HEWENDEN AC

The next match is on Sunday, which will be the Christmas cheer. Members must have fished three matches in the last year to qualify for a prize. Meet in the car park for the draw at 9.15am.

BINGLEY AC
