Depleted Bradford Maroons suffered their heaviest league defeat of the season, losing 101-64 at home to Nottingham Hoods.
Maroons were always up against it as they were only able to field six players and inevitably suffered in the latter stages of the game.
A fast and open first quarter saw the visitors finish 29-18 ahead and, while the next quarter was a more even affair, the Hoods extended their lead in every session.
They finished the game with something of a turkey shoot against the fatigued Maroons.
The scale of defeat suffered by the gutsy Bradford outfit would have been worse but for Dut Malek, the game’s top scorer with 30 points, while Reuben Malek and Cyrus Dennis added 14 and 11 points respectively.
Bradford Maroons are away to Derby Trailblazers II on Sunday.
