BINGLEY AC: This week’s match, originally to be held at Kearby, has been moved to the Leeds-Liverpool Canal as we expect river levels to be excessive on Sunday. The draw is 9am at Morton Lane Bridge. This is an open match and non-members are welcome. For bookings call T Greenwood on 07971-428678. Members intending to fish the canal on Sunday should note that the stretch from Swine Lane Bridge to the Rise Locks has been reserved for this match. Weather conditions on the day will dictate which pegs will be in use. Please be aware that if you are fishing on a match length you may be moved on – there will be plenty of pegs free – but if you are fishing on the stretch determined for the match you may be asked to move. The other alternative is to book on for the match, of course. The River Wharfe at Wray Wood, Boston Spa and Kearby has reportedly been fishing very well recently and should do again when the river levels drop after this week’s rain.

BRADFORD No1 AA: Last weekend’s members’ match at Raskelf Lake was won by James Vickerman with 36lb 5oz. John Walsh came second with 33lb 4oz and Ian Graham was third with 24lb 9oz.
