Donovan Smillie has not fought since April 2006 but has continued training
Donovan Smillie has a new date for his comeback.
The super-middleweight, who turned 35 this week, will fight on the Visiting Orders show at Fit City Broughton in Salford on Saturday, August 28.
Smillie, who has not fought since April 2006, said: “I have never stopped training in all that time and I would like to thank all my Bradford sponsors for backing me.”
Tickets for the Harrison Promotions evening cost £60 (inner ringside), £40 (ringside) or £20 (general) and can be obtained by calling 07977-430072.
Smillie should have fought on July 17 in Salford but his opponent pulled out.
