Bradford Maroons suffered a shock EBL Men's Shield exit to Sefton Stars.
The Merseysiders play in a lower league than Bradford but managed to win 73-66.
The Maroons resume their EBL Division Three North campaign on Sunday at home to Durham Wildcats.
Tip-off is 2.30pm at Parkside Road Sports Centre.
