Keighley's Robin Luscombe retired after the Berrystall Lodge group of sections at the Merle Moorewood Peak Trial on Sunday at Hope in North Derbyshire - but it was not all gloom for the family.
His 17-year-old son, Sam, won the newcomer category with driver Andy Abrahams and finished second overall in the clubman class.
