BINGLEY'S Ian Hutchinson had a day to remember at the Isle of Man TT today.

The Bingley Bullet won his 12th race around the Mountain Course in the morning, dominating the Monster Energy Supersport event from start to finish as he beat Bradford's Dean Harrison (Silicone Engineering) in a record winning time on board his CAME BPT Yamaha.

In the afternoon, Hutchinson broke the lap record in the RL360 Superstock, having an average speed of 133.098mph on the opening lap.

In the Supersport race, Hutchinson, who had won six previous Isle of Man TT races in that class, had established a three-second lead over Harrison by Glen Helen in perfect conditions.

Michael Dunlop, who finished second in the morning only to be excluded for a technical infringement, retired in the Superstock race with a broken gear lever, Hutchinson winning by almost 40 seconds from Harrison, with James Hillier third, as he had been in the morning.
