Junior Witter's 50th pro fight ended in defeat against unbeaten Albanian Timo Schwarzkopf in Germany.
Bradford's former WBC light-welterweight world champion was beaten on a majority decision in the ten rounder.
Witter felt he had done enough to win the 147lb match-up and said: "My skills were sharp. Lots of people came up to me outside the venue and said I won easy."
