Three City of Bradford swimmers are heading to Ponds Forge in Sheffield to compete in the National Age Group and Youth Championships.

Competing in her second Age Group Championships will be 13-year-old Eva Chapman, who will compete in the 100m, 200m, 400m and 800m freestyle, which take place this week.

Also swimming in the 13 years age group is Myles Stirk, who has qualified for the 200m backstroke and 200m individual medley events.

Eighteen-year-old James Dawson competes next week at the National Youth Championships in his favoured event, the 100m breaststroke.

All three swimmers have reached the final of their events in previous Championships and are looking to emulate that again this year.

The swimmers are part of the Leisure Services Aquatic Competition Programme and train under the guidance of Development Coaches Sarah Fisher and Andy Pearce.
