GRAHAM Alexander will hold talks today with one of his Premier League targets.
The City boss has arranged a Zoom call from Austria to chat with the young player – one of two he wants to take on loan for the season.
Alexander said: “It’s the chance to speak to the player and his club about the potential of bringing him in.
“Unfortunately, because I’m away with the team, it has to be on Zoom. But I’ve done a couple like that already.

“We’ve had good vibes from the representative but it’s about that alignment between us. There might be something we pick up on that we’re not sure about and it might be the same for him.
“It’s important that we go through this process and everyone who joins is in a good place and mentally saying, ‘this is the right thing for us’. We have to have the same feeling as well.
“Everyone knows how important recruitment is in today’s game.”
City have added eight permanent signings over the summer and Alexander is looking to bolster his options with two young loans.
They need to reduce squad numbers but there have been no developments on the out front.
Tyler Smith is not involved in the Austrian camp and remains training at Apperley Bridge. Adam Wilson was due to travel but pulled out late through illness.
