BRADFORD Bulls’ reserves missed the chance to climb off the bottom of the league in their final game, but another closely-fought game showed there are plenty of reasons for optimism heading into 2025.

Glenn Morrison’s side lost 32-18 to high-flying Hull KR at Odsal last night, meaning they ended the season with one win, one draw and 10 defeats from their 12 league games.

London Broncos ended up second bottom, despite Bulls scoring 84 more points and conceding 139 less than the capital club in the league this year.

Other than Wakefield Trinity, who are a top-flight club in all but name, every one else competing in the Reserves Championship has a first team in Super League.

Bulls have also just rounded off their Academy Championship campaign.

They came bottom of that table too, with one win from their 12 games.

But that victory tasted sweet, coming in their final game last Thursday, where Morrison's teens stunned mid-table Leeds Rhinos.

A late try from Harvey Duckworth ensured Bulls won a thrilling game 24-22, which should act as something to build on going into 2025.
