JONATHAN Tomkinson made a late appearance in the USA’s latest Olympic warm-up game.
City’s on-loan Norwich defender came on for the final 15 minutes in their 3-0 win over Guinea in Girona yesterday.
The Americans are in action again on Monday when they take on Olympic hosts France as they continue to build-up towards this summer’s Games in Paris.
Tomkinson’s Valley Parade team-mate Calum Kavanagh was on the bench as the Republic of Ireland under-21s went goal crazy in San Marino.
Kavanagh was an unused substitute in the 7-0 thrashing in the European Championship qualifier. Rocco Vata scored a hat-trick for Jim Crawford’s side.
