BRADFORD City Women breezed through their North East Regional Women’s Football League League Cup third round tie on Sunday, as they thrashed fellow West Yorkshire side Altofts 7-0.
Emily Senior’s Bantams found themselves 3-0 up at the break, but did not take their foot off the gas thereafter, putting their visitors to the sword at Horsfall.
Maria McKenna and Summer Paley both found the net twice for City, while man-of-the-match Kanisha Underdown, who dominated the midfield throughout the 90 minutes, also netted.
The other Bantams goals came courtesy of Hannah Markey and Aaliyah Nolan.
City are back in NERWFL Premier Division action this coming Sunday.
They currently sit three points off the top of the table and host mid-table Alnwick Town Juniors at the weekend.
