JORDY Hiwula has signed for the 13th club of his career.
The former City striker has been a free agent since the start of September following his most recent spell at Ross County.
But the 29-year-old is now back in League Two after signing for Morecambe until the end of the season.
Hiwula said: “I feel this is a perfect opportunity for me to come and play the remaining games of the season, hopefully we can do something special.
"There's a really good bunch of lads here, everyone has been welcoming as well so I've enjoyed it so far. (The fans can] expect hard work, determination and an eye for goal as well, I'll always give 100 per cent for the team.”
Hiwula joined City on a season-long loan from Huddersfield in 2016/17 – and finished top scorer with 12 goals as Stuart McCall’s men reached the League One play-off final. He was an unused substitute at Wembley.
He signed for Fleetwood that summer and scored for the Cod Army in a 3-0 win at Valley Parade the following September.
Hiwula also spent two seasons with Coventry and a year at Doncaster before heading north of the border in the summer of 2022.
