FORMER City loan striker Kian Harratt has been banned from football for four months and fined £3,200 for breaking the FA's betting rules.

The 21-year-old Huddersfield forward placed 484 bets on matches between June 30, 2020 and June 3, 2023.

He admitted to the charge of breaching FA Rule E8.1.

The period included his time spent on loan with the Bantams.

While at Valley Parade, Harratt was found guilty of hare-coursing in November 2022 and City cancelled his loan spell early.

He made only five sub appearances in the league for the Bantams - and was was sent off on his debut after the final whistle for a shove on Doncaster keeper Jonny Mitchell.

Harratt scored his only City goal in the Papa Johns Trophy against Sheffield Wednesday.

But there was a further issue behind the scenes when Harratt’s dad Wayne went on social media to complain about his lack of involvement in the team.
