CITY prospect Freddy Jeffreys has joined Elgin City on loan until the end of the season.
The 18-year-old midfielder was handed his senior debut earlier in the season when Kevin McDonald was in temporary charge, coming on for the closing stages of the EFL Trophy win at Grimsby.
He then started in the group win over Manchester City under-21s and played 64 minutes.

Jeffreys is now heading for the north coast of Scotland for the chance to gain some more first-team experience.
The paperwork for the deal went through just in time before last night’s deadline – the window shut half an hour later at 11.30pm north of the border.
Jeffreys faces a tough introduction at Borough Briggs. Elgin, who host East Fife tomorrow, are currently second from bottom in Scottish League Two.
