LUKE Williams insists his Notts County side have to focus on their own performance at home to City, but admits he is wary of what a new-look Bantams might bring to Meadow Lane.

Many of the questions in his pre-match press conference surrounded the speculation around Oxford United’s interest in him, but he also took the time to give his take on Graham Alexander’s men.

He said: “We’ve been trying to prepare for them, but we have a feeling their team could look very different to the one we can look back on on video over the last few games.

“Part of our preparation is therefore making sure that we try to impose ourselves on the game and deliver our gameplan.

“From there, we can try and make the players aware of what the opposition can potentially do.

“But if we focus so much on the opposition, we can come to the pitch without any plan.

“If we focus on what we think they’re going to do, then they do something different, we have nothing to base our performance off.

“We’ll try to have an awareness, try to improve our own performance and make sure our gameplan is the dominant one on the pitch.”
