CLAYTON Donaldson has gone back to City to snap up young striker Dylan Youmbi.

Farsley Celtic boss Donaldson has signed the 19-year-old on an initial month’s loan.

Celts chairman Paul Barthorpe told the club website: “Dylan is an exciting young striker who loves to score goals.

“He fits our strategy of signing and loaning in young and hungry players from teams higher in the footballing pyramid and will provide us with extra options up front.

“Our squad has been stretched with injuries and suspensions and we’ve been delighted to add a number of quality additions in the past week.”

Pav Singh, director of football at the National League North club, added: “Dylan is a talented young player who was the top goal-scorer for Bradford City’s under-19s during the 21/22 season.

“He knows where the goal is and I’m pleased we’ve been able to add him to our squad.”

Youmbi signed a new pro deal in the summer along with Bobby Pointon and Harvey Rowe.

But while Pointon has established himself in City’s plans, Youmbi has not featured.

His only appearance in the squad was for the Carabao Cup second-round tie at Wrexham where he was an unused substitute.

Player/boss Donaldson scored for Farsley at Warrington Town last night with a looping header. But they were pegged back by an equaliser in the fifth minute of stoppage time.
