HE WAS the debutant who certainly caused a buzz at Valley Parade last time.

And the ball-carrying mini VW will be back in action against Grimsby on Saturday.

“Buzz” is the first remote control ball-carrier in English football.

Unveiled by City’s long-time sponsor JCT600, the miniature vehicle took centre stage over the Bank Holiday weekend when it drove out with the ball before the Crewe game.

Produced by the same people behind the remote-controlled VW ID.4 which caused such a stir during the UEFA 2020 Euros, the amber and claret coloured Volkswagen remote-controlled campervan will be an ever-present for every home match.

“We’re thrilled that Buzz will be a permanent fixture at Bradford City home games,” said Andy Bateman, JCT600 customer experience director.

“Not only is this an English League first but it provides plenty of pre-match entertainment too!”
