BULLS centre Joe Arundel insists "everyone is beatable on their day" in the Betfred Championship, and sees no reason why the club cannot go all the way this year.
Arundel experienced the play-offs last year with Halifax, and has got used to what the second tier is all about, telling the T&A: "It's one of the hardest competitions I've ever played in, and each week is a different challenge.
"It can be difficult in the play-offs, as Fax were favourites to beat York last year and we got turned over.
"To not go any further was disappointing but this Bulls team I'm part of now, we're more than capable of a good end to the season.
"We can make those play-offs and push for the Grand Final, and everyone is beatable on their day.
"It's what makes this such an exciting and competitive league."
Arundel made his hunger for success and trophies even clearer by saying: "It was nice to have this last week off, as you don't get many in the grind of a season.
"But obviously it was frustrating too because it was cup final weekend, and with the 1895, we were so disappointed to get knocked out of that by Halifax.
"It has given us a good refresh for the end of the season though, and the performance in the win at Batley before the break has set us up for a nice end to the season, as we have tough games coming up."
Arundel is relieved to have returned from the low grade calf tear he suffered against Widnes last month far quicker than he expected.
But with young Jayden Myers playing at centre in his absence at Whitehaven, Arundel's return has seen him play in the second row against Barrow and Batley.
He said: "I played in the back row a couple of times when I was at Wakefield and Lee (Greenwood) has just asked me to fill in there.
"I don't know if that's going to be prolonged, but I've enjoyed it.
"It just takes a bit more getting used to the game speed in there, and the fact there's more work to do in the second row than at centre.
"I'm happy to play anywhere for the team though."
And that generosity extends to his replacement at centre, with Arundel saying: "I'll help Jayden where I can, and I'm always there to advise him.
"I'm at the back end of my career, though still have plenty left to give, but I had that help when I was Jayden's age and it's always good to have someone to turn to.
"He's playing well and I'm happy for him, so it's a selection headache that can only be good for the team when everyone else is back fit again."
