A Bradford Bulls youngster will be hoping to help Yorkshire win the crucial third and final Academy Origin.
Jamie Gill, a towering front-row, has been selected to try and help Yorkshire come back and draw the series 1-1.
Lancashire enjoyed a clean sweep victory in the competition last year, taking the series 3-0.
The 2022 edition saw Bulls talents like Myles Lawford and George Flanagan Jr in action for their county.
And the first game of this year's series saw Bradford's Jacob Bateman play, in a game Yorkshire lost 40-22 at Castleford.
But in a dramatic second encounter, which did not feature any Bulls players, Yorkshire scored a late converted try to draw 32-32 at Hull KR.
That means Yorkshire can tie things up in the finale at Warrington next Saturday (August 19), with Gill hoping to play a starring role.
He joined the Bradford Bulls Scholarship three years ago and represented Dearne Valley Bulldogs at community level.
The game at the Halliwell Jones Stadium kicks off at 3pm.
