The winger posted a tribute message after returning to Crystal Palace - where he scored a stunning goal for the under-21s against PSV Eindhoven at Selhurst Park on Tuesday night.

Banks made 35 appearances for the Bantams in his first loan spell in England and netted six goals. That made him City’s second top scorer behind Andy Cook.
Writing on Twitter, Banks said: “Massive thank you to everyone at @officialbantams. (I’m) gutted it didn’t end the way we wanted but proud to have been a part of it.
“(It’s a) special fan base. Thanks for giving me memories I’ll never forget.”
