CARLISLE fans set off fireworks outside City’s hotel to disturb the players sleeping before Saturday’s play-off game.
Footage on social media shows them being set off just after 3am in front of where the Bantams were staying.
Hotel guest John Bradford tweeted: “Hi Plymouth fan. Up in Lakes for a couple of days and team staying in same hotel.
“There was a 15 min firework display at 3am last night. No idea who behind (though could guess) but everyone would have been awake!”
City do not usually stay overnight before playing at Carlisle but Mark Hughes booked a hotel in the north of the Lake District to try to give them the best preparation for the semi-final second leg.

But Carlisle fans got wind of where they were staying and decided to disrupt their sleep in the early hours. Car horns were also blasted for a short while.
