BULLS have opened applications for their vacant head coach role, and may yet have someone in place in time for their Summer Bash clash against Keighley in York.

Prospective candidates have until Wednesday, May 17 to email their CV and a covering letter to Bulls CEO Jason Hirst.

That closing date is three days after Bradford’s Betfred Championship home clash against Swinton, with interim head coach Lee Greenwood in charge the side this Sunday.

Bulls then have a week off, while the Challenge Cup sixth round takes place, before returning to action against Cougars on Sunday, May 28.

In a statement advertising for the role on their official website, Bulls posted: “The Bradford Bulls are a leading rugby league club, with a proud track record of winning domestic and international titles and of producing world-class rugby league players.

“The club are looking to recruit an innovative head coach, to deliver success for our loyal supporter base and who can strongly lead, manage and support the football operation at the club.

“All applications will be treated in the strictest confidence.

“A formal job specification will be forward to candidates invited for interview and discussed, in detail, as part of the subsequent selection process.

“Potential candidates seeking an informal conversation as to the details of the role should contact Jason Hirst for a confidential conversation.”
