BRADFORD Bulls' dreadful derby defeat at Keighley Cougars last Sunday cost them two points and plenty of pride.

But now it is set to rob them of three players too.

The RFL have handed down bans to young Huddersfield loan duo Fenton Rogers and George Roby, while Josh Johnson is also in line for a suspension.

Rogers' punishment is the most severe, as he is due to miss Bulls' upcoming games against Halifax and Batley, with his two game-ban a result of striking the ball carrier with his forearm.

That carried a two-game ban and a Grade C charge due to the tackle being deemed to be of a reckless nature.

Rogers was sin-binned at the time for the indiscretion.

Roby and Johnson are both set to miss out on the derby at Fax on Easter Monday too.

The pair were handed one game bans for a Grade B trip and a Grade C dangerous contact respectively.

However, Roby has also been cited for other contrary behaviour in a separate incident, with that currently still under investigation, so he could face a longer spell on the sidelines.

Bulls will have chance to appeal all of those bans, but know they run the risk of the suspensions being increased if their complaints are deemed frivolous.
