BRADFORD Bulls have announced their ‘Try of the Month’ for February.
Mark Dunning’s side produced some eye-catching rugby in the opening four weeks of the new season, but the prolific Kieran Gill claimed the honours for his second try against Whitehaven on the opening day of the Betfred Championship.
The Bulls ran out of 24-8 winners at Odsal that day while Gill got his season off to a flyer – with his second effort even more impressive than his first.
Like so often this season, the creative flair of Dec Patton and Tom Holmes made it easy for Bradford to cut open the Whitehaven defence, as Patton played a brilliant reverse pass towards the onrushing Holmes, who then laid off to Gill and he burst clear to put the hosts in the driving seat.
It topped off a fantastic afternoon for the Bulls.
