BRADFORD Bulls has taken steps to create its fanbase of the future by handing out 15,000 free season tickets to juniors ahead of the forthcoming 2023 season.

Ahead of the club’s 2023 #MomentsLikeThis Season Ticket campaign, the Odsal-based club wanted to let every junior aged under 18 in the Bradford district to know they can come to the rugby league side’s matches for free.

After the Bulls’ early bird season ticket pre-season deadline has passed, the club has distributed 15,000 free season tickets to juniors through schools, businesses and networking channels.

As part of the club’s Bradford Schools Blitz Day last year, Bulls staff visited all 252 schools in the Bradford district, advertising that Kids Go Free in 2023.

Bulls also embarked on its Business Blitz Day where staff visited 119 businesses in Bradford - delivering season tickets and posters to be displayed to shoppers and staff alike.

The Junior Bull Club has been formed for all junior season ticket holders and the club will hold exclusive events with its own Bullman and Bullboy throughout 2023.

Youngsters who have received their free season tickets can see the Bulls in action for the first time in 2023 in their opening Betfred Championship season clash against Whitehaven at Odsal Stadium on Sunday, February 5 (3pm kick-off).

Luke Mawson, Bradford Bulls media and marketing manager, said: “Kids Go Free was, and remains, the cornerstone of our 2023 marketing campaign.

“We are incredibly passionate about engaging with juniors in Bradford and beyond and making watching rugby league at Odsal Stadium affordable.

“We have distributed 15,000 free season tickets, having visited over 250 schools and over 100 businesses in Bradford, but our work is by no means done.

“We invite people of all ages, backgrounds and beliefs to our safe, fun and welcoming environment.

“Plans are well underway to make the match day experience more enjoyable for juniors and all fans alike, and we will constantly be engaging with our local community with all things rugby league.

“Our mission was to let every child under the age of 18 know they can come to our matches for free, and we will not stop until we achieve that goal.”
