JAKE Young has joined Barrow on loan until the end of the season.
The striker has been out of City’s plans since October - his last outing was in the Papa Johns Trophy defeat at Burton. He had not been named in a squad since.
His last league action was at Tranmere four months ago.
Young, who joined on a three-year deal in the summer, scored City’s first goal of the season - against his new club - and then bagged three in two games against Sheffield Wednesday in the PJT and Walsall.
But he has found himself down the pecking order and the arrival of Dara Costelloe yesterday from Burnley has meant the Bantams will allow Young to go elsewhere for game time.
