FARSLEY Celtic sit in the bottom four of National League North currently, and could do with a win at Alfreton Town this afternoon to aid their chances of avoiding relegation.
They will therefore be grateful for the help of their League Two neighbours Bradford City.
Bantams prospect Kian Scales has been on loan at the Celts since August, initially on a one-month deal, and then until January.
But City confirmed last night that they were extending his stay at the Citadel until February 28.
Scales, who is 20, has netted twice for Farsley this season, in a 3-0 win at Brackley Town and in a 1-1 draw against Blyth Spartans.
He made his first-team debut for the Bantams in an EFL Trophy game against Doncaster in September 2020, before his league bow came as a substitute two months later in a 2-2 home draw with Exeter.
The young midfielder made 23 appearances for City in all competitions in 2020/21, but has played just four times for their first-team since, as he looks to use his time at Farsley to put himself back in the reckoning at Valley Parade.
