AFTER impressing on loan at Bradford Bulls in 2022, Muizz Mustapha has secured himself a big move.
One of several Leeds Rhinos youngsters to make a mark at Odsal last season, alongside the likes of Corey Johnson, Jarrod O'Connor and Liam Tindall, versatile forward Mustapha has joined Castleford Tigers on a one-year deal.
The 22-year-old can play as a prop, second-row or loose forward, and has plenty of experience on loan in the Championship and League One, having turned out for Featherstone Rovers, Dewsbury Rams and Newcastle Thunder before his spell at Bulls.
He has made nine first-team appearances for Leeds, and played 11 games in Super League for Hull Kingston Rovers in 2021.
Mustapha made eight appearances for Bradford last year, with four starts, and may well have featured more.
He was on a run of four consecutive appearances for Bulls in mid-season, but was then banned for five games for a Grade D Dangerous Throw offence in a Rhinos reserve game.
Having never quite made the grade in Leeds' first team, he will hope his Super League breakthrough comes now with Castleford.
