RICHIE Smallwood will soon be reunited with some familiar faces, as his new side Bradford City will be facing Hull in the Carabao Cup first round.
Smallwood captained Hull to promotion from League One in 2020/21 and led them in the Championship last season too.
But he completed a move on a free transfer to the Bantams last night after leaving Hull at the end of last season.
And in a twist of fate, City have now been drawn to host Hull at Valley Parade.
That Carabao Cup first round clash will take place on the week commencing Monday, August 8, with full details to be announced in due course.
