CITY will face Leicester's Under-21s in the Papa John's Trophy.
The group stage draw was already done in part earlier this week, with City placed in Northern Group H with League One duo Sheffield Wednesday and Burton.
But the Premier League youth sides were not chosen until today, and it was Leicester who were drawn in the Bantams' group.
The group stage fixtures will commence on August 29, and will be followed by matchday two over w/c September 19 and three on w/c October 17.
Which games are home and away are yet to be decided, as the Bantams look to get out of the group stage of the competition for the first time since the 2017/18 season.
