TEENAGE City starlet Sahil Bashir has made a six-figure move to a Premier League club.

The St Bede’s and St Joseph's Catholic College pupil, who has just turned 16, has joined Brighton’s academy.

Neither club have commented on the deal or fee which reports have claimed could be up to £250,000.

But it is likely the transfer will have been structured in a similar way to when Oli McBurnie left Valley Parade for Swansea in 2015 with future add-ons and incentives if Bashir progresses.

Although the news has just broken publicly, the T&A understands that the deal was finalised towards the start of last season and completed in March.

The midfielder scored five goals in one game for City's under-16s last season against Burton.
