JAMIE Walker is out for City with a tweaked hamstring.

Caretaker boss Mark Trueman this afternoon confirmed that the on-loan Hearts attacker would be sidelined with the problem that forced him off in last week’s home loss to Exeter.

Walker is having the injury scanned today but is expected to be out for two to three weeks.

Liam Ridehalgh and Oscar Threlkeld are also missing for Trueman’s first game back in charge on Saturday at Oldham.

But the likes of Caolan Lavery and Gareth Evans, who have not been involved at all recently with Derek Adams, could come back into contention.

Trueman said: “Every player who wasn’t in the squad see it as a chance to get in the team now. All that does is build competition, which we want.

“There were two or three who were out of the squad week in, week out and they will now be pushing and see it as a fresh chance.”
