CONCERNS have been raised about the welfare of former Bradford Bulls, St Helens and Wigan Warriors prop Bryn Hargreaves who has not been seen for two weeks.

The 36-year-old, who now lives in the Cheat Lake area of Morgantown in West Virginia, USA, was reported missing on Sunday.

The Monongalia County Sheriff’s office are seeking the public’s help in locating the missing former player.

They have urged anyone with information to call the Sheriff’s Department or leave private messages on the Sheriff’s Facebook page @brynjack.

Bryn is described as being 6 foot 2 ins tall and 220lbs, with a tattoo of his family crest on his right arm

A product of Wigan's academy, Hargreaves played 54 league games for the Bulls between 2011 and 2012, scoring one try.

His most notable stint was at St Helens, where he started in the front row when they won the Challenge Cup against Hull FC at Wembley Stadium in 2008, and also played in Saints' 2007 World Club Challenge victory over Brisbane Broncos.

Hargreaves played in three Grand Final defeats – including his last game for Saints in 2010 – before joining Bradford.

He called time early on his rugby league career aged just 26 and emigrated to America, teling the Telegraph & Argus at the time in 2012 he had grown disillusioned with the game and in particular Bradford's financial problems at the time.
