BRADFORD BULLS' clash with Halifax Panthers has been called off today.
Earlier this morning it was reported that club staff were working hard to ensure that the game would go ahead, but, following a second pitch inspection, the match has been postponed.
Bradford Bulls tweeted, at 11.40am, that: "Despite a second pitch inspection, this afternoon's match has been postponed. We apologise for the inconvenience caused, we are working on rearranging the fixture and details will be made available in due course."
In a further statement this afternoon, they wrote: "We would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused and for any lack of updates.
"The position was everyone at the club was fighting furiously to save the fixture before finally conceding that we couldn't get the game played.
"We sincerely apologise if anyone was inconvenienced by today's postponement, both ourselves and Halifax are in discussions about a rearranged fixture.
"Details regarding any refund process or rearrangement will become available in due course."
