CITY’S trip to Walsall on Wednesday is off – as Covid continues to hit the festive fixture schedule.
Despite the best efforts from the Bantams to ensure the game at the Banks’s Stadium could be played, positive results recorded - and subsequent self-isolation periods - have meant a number of City’s players remain ruled out.
The EFL acknowledged the club’s request to postpone the fixture, with the welfare of players returning from the sidelines in the immediate build-up to the game the primary concern.
City have already had to postpone last Saturday’s game at Carlisle and the Boxing Day meeting with Harrogate at Valley Parade.
All tickets bought for the Walsall game will be valid for the rearranged date.
