BULLS have had a big departure from the club this evening, with vice-captain Sam Hallas signing for their Championship rivals Newcastle Thunder for 2022.
He joins the North-East side after five seasons with Bradford, having first come to the club on loan from Leeds in 2017.
The versatile forward signed a permanent deal at Odsal at the end of the year, and was a mainstay in John Kear's side as they won promotion from League 1 in 2018, before establishing themselves as play-off contenders in the second tier.
He signed a contract extension with Bradford at the end of 2019, and was made vice-captain ahead of the 2020 season.
The 25-year-old scored 13 tries in 101 appearances for Bulls.
