BULLS have announced that Dan Fleming has put pen-to-paper on a new two-year deal with the club.

The powerful middle returned to Bradford ahead of the 2021 season for his second spell - following a two-year stint between 2015 and 2016.

The Welshman made 18 appearances this year, scoring in the stunning comeback victory over Halifax Panthers in the Championship back in April.

Fleming said: “I am delighted to be staying, I loved my first year back here and can now look forward to the next couple of years.

“Having the two years gives me the chance to really settle here and I want to kick on for what is hopefully going to be a big year for club and country.

“It is a great group of lads and I am looking forward to working with the new faces coming in.

“With pre-season starting soon, I am excited to get going again.”

Bradford boss John Kear believes the forward will benefit from a prolonged stay at the club, as Bulls target further improvement in 2022.

The veteran head coach said: “I am delighted Dan has signed a new deal.

“He is a great professional who works very hard, looks after himself and I feel he has had a solid year, which has now been rewarded with a new two-year deal.

“Dan has signed for two more years and I think he will certainly benefit from that stability of being around the same group for a prolonged period of time.

“He is a very experienced player and it is another boost for us heading into a season where we are looking to improve further on what we achieved this year.”
