BRADFORD City suffered late heartbreak as they had to share the spoils thanks to a late Bristol Rovers equaliser.
The Bantams looked like they were going to grab the victory at Valley Parade until Rovers’ striker Brett Pitman levelled for a 2-2 draw in League 2.
Charles Vernam and Andy Cook fired home City’s goals, as they had been the dominant side for large spells of the clash against Joey Barton’s men.
Here are the views of the Bantams faithful as they took to social media after the match:
We played well today gutted. We just need to learn to see out the end in the games we play and push up more rather then sit back. 😢 #bcafc

I’m only just starting to get over today’s disappointing #bcafc result, especially after dominating & then conceding so late in the game 🤬

Football can be cruel as also witnessed by the Brentford team & fans, but that’s probably why we love it so much!

Feels like a loss that . Terrible finishing 1st half and poor game management 2nd half have cost us . Generally apart from last 20 minutes it was a good performance. Desperately need a second striker to support Cook. #bcafc

City dominated the first half and for some reason just sat back the whole second half.. Bristol Rovers were absolutely turnip and managed to get a point!! Very disappointing #BCAFC
