THE Championship play-off semi-finals this weekend are set to get impressive viewing figures once again, if last Saturday's match between Bradford and Batley at Mount Pleasant is anything to go by.
The effective quarter-final was watched on Sky Sports by a peak of 139,000 viewers on Saturday afternoon, and had an average of 101,000 viewers, superb figures for a rugby league match on a subscription channel.
Halifax's clash with Whitehaven on Saturday evening also did well, peaking at 90,000 viewers and watched by an average of 69,000, impressive stuff when it was up against the Premier League game between Brentford and Liverpool at the same time.
Both of the semi-finals take place today, with Toulouse hosting Batley at 3:15pm (UK time) in France, before Fax visit Featherstone for a 5:30pm kick-off.
