FORMER Bulls star Joe Keyes is leaving Super League side Hull KR, but it looks like he might well be off to a West Yorkshire rival.

Keyes was crucial in the halves for Bradford for several seasons, after joining in 2016, but he left to go to Craven Park at the end of the 2019 season.

That was part of a mess exodus to the East Yorkshire club, which also included Ethan Ryan, Elliot Minchella, Matty Storton, Rowan Milnes and Anesu Mudoti.

But while some of the others have established themselves in Rovers' first team, Keyes has found game time hard to come by at Craven Park.

That led to him going on loan to both York City Knights and Bulls this season, and he was key as John Kear's side picked up good mid-season wins against Batley Bulldogs and Oldham.

But it seems like he is off to one of Bulls' biggest rivals for 2022 instead, with his move to Halifax Panthers all but confirmed.
