FINN Cousin-Dawson has been called up by Northern Ireland under-21s.
City’s teenage defender has been included in John Schofield’s squad for the opening Euro 2021 qualifiers against Malta and Slovakia next week.
It means Cousin-Dawson, who made his international debut in a friendly against Scotland in the summer, will miss two games for the Bantams – Tuesday’s Papa John’s Trophy group opener against Lincoln and the League Two home clash with Walsall next Saturday.
Oscar Threlkeld, whose place the 19-year-old has taken at right back, is pencilled in to return to full training on Monday after his injury.
