LEVI Sutton and Oscar Threlkeld will soon be back in the mix for City.

Both are still out for Saturday’s trip to Leyton Orient as well as Lee Angol and Abo Eisa.

But Derek Adams expects to see the pair of them back in full training from Monday.

City are no nearer to knowing if Angol will require surgery for his hamstring injury.

Adams said: “The consultant’s away on holiday so he can’t be seen as yet.

“We’ve got Threlkeld and Sutton who will train next week. Abo is still out – but hopefully we’ll only have two out by next week.”

Adams is chasing another forward to cover for Angol’s absence and confirmed that they have identified potential replacements.

“We’re still working on it and will continue to do that to the end of the window,” he added.

“We’ve obviously got our targets and we’re trying to get one of them over the line.

“You’re never close until it’s done. We are in dialogue with other clubs and other players at the moment.

“We’ve got (Caolan) Lavery and Andy Cook that play in that position. It’s one to come in and give us competition in that area.

“It will be one arrival. We’ve got to get a striker in if we can and it’s got to be a similar one to Lee.”
