THE RFL have started the remedial works on the Odsal pitch ahead of Bulls' game against Swinton Lions there today.

The new pitch dimensions take the playing surface above the minimum standards.

Bulls have been given special dispensation to play on a smaller pitch since their return to Odsal in May, as it had to be adapted due to stock car racing returning there.

The smaller pitch has drawn the ire of some of their visitors, notably York City Knights and their head coach James Ford.

But it is now getting sorted, with the new posts also there having been used for England games at Anfield.
