FINN Cousin-Dawson will feature for City at Nottingham Forest tomorrow night.

Derek Adams this afternoon confirmed that the 19-year-old will start the Carabao Cup first-round clash at right back.

Oscar Threlkeld misses out with the calf problem that forced him off in the draw at Exeter.

But Adams will not be deploying Levi Sutton in the defensive role where he filled in for the second half.

The City boss said: “There are various players who can play in that area of the pitch.

“The best option for us on Saturday was to put Levi back there but I don’t see him as a long-term solution for cover at right back.

“Finn is going to play at right back tomorrow night and it is an opportunity for him.”

Cousin-Dawson made 26 appearances last season including 20 starts in League Two. He was not involved in the squad on opening day.

Threlkeld is being assessed and could be back for Saturday’s first home game against Oldham. Yann Songo’o is on course to be ready for Stevenage’s visit to Valley Parade next Tuesday.
