BRADFORD Bulls' young stars continue to impress, with George Flanagan just pipping team-mate Osman Conteh to the club's Try of the Month award for June.

In a game against Newcastle at Horsfall, Flanagan scooped up a loose ball, charged at the visiting defence, sold a couple of outrageous dummies, and touched down in the corner.

He garnered just over 40 per cent of the vote, pipping Conteh's effort from the same game.

After Bradford gathered a long Newcastle kick, the ball was fed to Conteh, who stormed down the left wing, before shrugging off a last-ditch tackle from an opposition player to score

A third youngster was up for the vote, with Dan McGrath (seven per cent) going over in the right corner after a neat passing move against Hull.

And finally, Ellis Robson, who is now on loan at Salford after his short spell at Bulls, got his name on the list.

His try against Newcastle for the first team, which saw him go in under the posts after a sensational Tom Doyle run, garnered 12 per cent of the final vote.
