MONDAY night was all right for the Bradford Bulls Women, as they marked their return to Odsal with a superb 46-6 Super League win over Wakefield.

Games across the league are being played at the famous old Bradford stadium on Monday nights, and this was Bulls' first game there since the venue closed temporarily in 2019.

Veteran Danielle Bose was the star of the show, helping herself to four tries, as the Bulls ran riot against the league's bottom side.

Great work saw skipper Grace Ramsden and vice-captain Stacey Greenwood link up to put Bose in for her first, before Bose doubled her tally in the 10th minute.

A clever assist out of the back of the hand from Ramsden allowed Greenwood to grab Bulls' third on 13 minutes, before superb Bradford defence kept Wakefield scoreless.

Millie Taylor barged over to increase Bulls' lead after half an hour, before Sarah Dunn collected a Greenwood chip to feed Bose for her hat-trick.

Kacy Haley then barged over from acting half as Bradford took a 30-0 lead into the break.

Linda McLean crashed over for Bulls on 54 minutes, before Bose made light of a numerical disadvantage to grab her fourth.

A sensational run by Greenwood saw her beat six defenders to go over, before Liv Whitehead grabbed a consolation score for Wakefield at the last.

Dunn made four conversions for Bulls in their big win, while Ramsden turned the final try into a six-pointer, as Bulls grabbed just their second victory of the season.

Starting to find some form, they will fancy their chances in the end of season shield, which takes place between the league's bottom six sides.
