BRADFORD Bulls have been dealt another major injury blow as Jordan Lilley was ruled out for at least the next month.

Lilley fractured his ribs in Sunday’s win over Batley and will join half-back partner Danny Brough on the sidelines for four to six weeks.

It is a further setback for John Kear’s third-placed side, who have been hard hit by injuries throughout the season.

And it means Kear will again be forced to juggle in the halves to find a partner for on-loan Joe Keyes.

Kear said: “We haven’t lost a game when we’ve had two half backs – but we can’t get a run of games together.

“Broughy and Lilley looked great for seven games then last week Keyes and Lilley looked good. But we can’t get two half backs on the field at the same time.

“It’s very frustrating but that’s how it is at the minute. Hopefully at some stage we can have a run of fixtures when we don’t pick up any injuries.”

Brad England and Aaron Murphy are both okay to face Oldham this weekend and the Bulls will be able to welcome back Ebon Scurr from his spell of self-isolation.
