CITY face a couple of glamour ties in the Papa John's Trophy this season, with Manchester United in their group.
This is of course the Red Devils' Under-21s side, but we could well see some familiar faces from the club dropping down to play in the competition against the Bantams, as well as some possible future stars.
City had already been drawn to face Sunderland in Northern Group F, with the Black Cats having won the competition last season.
The other game in that group for City is against Lincoln, who faced City in the Carabao Cup last season, hammering the hosts 5-0 at Valley Parade.
The first set of fixtures will be held over the week commencing August 30.
